Peaceful
Coastal Hideaway in South West Wales
If
your idea of a good holiday is to get away from the commercial resorts
to a peaceful hideaway then Innisfree Holiday Cottages must be the choice
for you.
Innisfree
Holiday Cottages are situated just yards from the sandy beach
at Llansteffan. This area has managed to escape the temptation of commercialism
and has kept its Welsh character and charm. The beach never gets
crowded even in the height of summer and provides an ideal playground
for all the family.
The
centre attraction at Innisfree Holiday Cottages is the heated
swimming pool (early June - Sept) in the exclusive relaxing garden.
Here you can relax, take a swim, make friends or while away the day soaking
up the sun. The other great attraction at Innisfree is the main Innisfree
House with its 3 bedrooms, large lounge, WiFi, and breathtaking views from
the huge furnished balcony.
Innisfree
is a purpose built holiday complex where we have given careful thought
to the layout and comfort of our guests. All our cottages, the
apartment and main house overlook the swimming pool and most have stunning
views of the beach with some having a lounge on the first floor
taking advantage of the views over the Towy Estuary. Such is the comfort
and charm of Innisfree, that we have made many friends that return for
holidays year after year.
Our
holiday homes are fully equipped and open all year round
including Christmas and New Year. Short breaks are also available out
of season. A coin operated laundrette is situated on site for your convenience.
(The Main house has its own washing machine).
Llansteffan
- One of S.W.Wales best kept Secrets
A
13th century Castle overlooks this delightful village full of
charm, where you will find a very warm welcome with the locals. For those
who enjoy the outdoor life Llansteffan has plenty to offer, sea-fishing,
water sports, bird watching, tennis and a golf course.
Llansteffan
is a delight for walkers where you can enjoy both beach
and countryside - strolling the quaint streets, quiet country lanes or
the footpaths along the beach and wooded cliff tops with views reaching
as far as the Gower peninsular and the Pembrokeshire coast. A short walk
from Innisfree cottages is a pub, a quality restaurant, village store/post
office, church, and during the summer months - a tea room and a fish &
chip shop. Next to the beach is a children's play area as well as at the
rear of the cottages.
A
new indoor leisure centre is located between Llansteffan
and Carmarthen. Eight miles away lies the town of Carmarthen with its
market town character and superb new (2010) modern shopping centre.
The
area offers a great choice of attractions for day visits such
as arts & craft centres, mills, steam railway museums, historical
buildings and a superb choice of beaches.
For
further afield, Innisfree Holiday Cottages are ideally situated
for visiting Tenby, Oakwood Fun Park and touring the beaches and wildlife
of Pembrokeshire Coast and Gower Peninsular.
